LightQR: Fast QR Scanner — Effective March 17, 2026

Summary

LightQR does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Period.

Data Collection

LightQR collects zero data. The app:

• Does not collect personal information
• Does not use analytics or tracking frameworks
• Does not contain advertising
• Does not use third-party SDKs
• Does not make network requests (except when opening a scanned URL in your browser)
• Does not store scanned QR code content

Camera Access

LightQR requires camera access solely to scan QR codes. Camera data is processed entirely on-device using Apple's AVFoundation framework. No images or video are stored, recorded, or transmitted.

Clipboard

When scanning a WiFi QR code or plain text, LightQR copies the result to your device clipboard. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

Third-Party Services

LightQR uses zero third-party code. It is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks.

Children's Privacy

LightQR does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
