Privacy Policy

Data collection

Codex Live Bar does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data to the developer. It contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, telemetry, crash-reporting, or developer-operated server.

On-device storage and service requests

When you sign in, authentication tokens are received directly from OpenAI and stored in the iOS Keychain. Codex usage data is requested directly from OpenAI and a last-known snapshot is stored in the app’s private app-group container so the app and its Live Activity extension can display it.

Apple may process information required to provide iOS, App Intents, Shortcuts, and Live Activities. OpenAI processes sign-in and usage requests under its own terms and privacy policy.

Shortcuts automation

Codex Live Bar never reads which apps you open. If you create a personal automation in Apple Shortcuts, iOS runs the Codex Live Bar action you selected when your configured trigger occurs.

Deletion

Choose Sign Out in Settings to delete stored tokens and usage immediately. Deleting the app removes its container; if iOS retains a Keychain item, Codex Live Bar clears it before use on the next fresh installation. No developer-held account or server-side data exists to delete.

Contact

For privacy questions, use the support page. Do not include access tokens or private account information.
